Spring, Senior Pics.. this and that {Leander TX, Photographer}

It's been awhile since I've updated but there is a ton of stuff going on in my life right now! I'm back in college to get my degree that I've put off for entirely too long!

Anyway,  I can start off by saying that I really have missed just going out with my camera and shooting nature. So over the past few weekends, I've done just that.  About 3 weeks ago.. give or take, the bluebonnets started blooming.  They are still in bloom, but won't be around for long.  So I thought I'd go out and get some photos. My kids are all teenagers and getting them into the bluebonnets is now like pulling teeth, so the bluebonnets are alone in the photos this year.

Also.. my daughter is nearing the end of her junior year so I thought today would be an excellent day for a few quick shots in the flowers. She was not thrilled. haha!  Anyway.. I got my photos with a little bit of bribing (or do we call it blackmail?) and she only got a little bit scraped up.  It's so hard for me to believe that my only little girl will be starting college next month as dual enrollment along with her last year of high school!  I still see her as a little three year old with chubby cheeks, bossing her little brother around without a care in the world. <3  They really do grow up too fast. 

With all the tragedies happening lately, it's been very hard to deal with emotionally.  I've had Boston and West, TX both in my prayers. So, if anything.. hug your loved ones a little longer tonight and capture those moments with your camera whenever you can. They are priceless!

Sweet Berry Farm! {Marble Falls Photographer}

What could be better than an afternoon at Sweet Berry Farm? Pumpkins, Mazes, Ice Cream (yes, it's still really warm here in S Central TX!), Face painting, flower picking, goat petting, and a zillion photo ops!  Here is a peek of some of the great shots I captured today…. along with quite a few pumpkins!

A Stroll, just to be Strolling...

Marble Falls, Tx  |  Nature Photographer

Well, today I took a trip about an hour away to a small town called Marble Falls.  We went there via one route, and came home another. I stopped a few times along the way to snap just a few photos. I was feeling a bit 'uninspired' so to speak, so I went another way with my editing, letting some creative juices flow on a few of the photos. I hope you enjoy!

the middle of nowhere so we pulled over,  I zoomed in

A Little Taste of Texas

What a nice day to spend seeing some of the many sights of Texas! My husband and I just took a day to relax, enjoy some of the good food Texas has to offer, and spend some quality time by ourselves. I thought I would share a little bit of the day. Enjoy!

A nature walk at Wegerzyn Gardens

This past Sunday was the first anniversary of the day I married my sweet husband.  We spent the entire day,  driving around, stopping here and there,  just spending quality time together and reflecting on our marriage. We ended up at Wegerzyn Gardens and it just so happened that I had my camera. (Insert Shocked Face haha)  So, I feel the need to do things a little "out of the box" and post some beautiful nature shots that I captured on one very happy day of my life.  I find great contentment within these photos.

Note the man to the far right of the photo with his camera.  I decided not to photoshop him out just yet.. I like that he had the same idea that I had. :)

This beautiful flower was growing in a tree, about 10 yards off of the main path. The tree had probably 25 of these very large beauties.
