A Little Taste of Texas

What a nice day to spend seeing some of the many sights of Texas! My husband and I just took a day to relax, enjoy some of the good food Texas has to offer, and spend some quality time by ourselves. I thought I would share a little bit of the day. Enjoy!

New Logo!

Happy 21st Birthday, Holly!

What a beautiful day to celebrate a birthday, and what a great way to do it!  Holly's birthday was celebrated by 70 of her closest friends and family, on a party barge, in the middle of Lake Travis. The sun was shining brightly and the only way to cool off from the 104 degree heat was to hit the waterslide. There was plenty of music, food, and festivities.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Having fun at Lake Georgetown

While taking a drive along Hwy 29 a few days ago, we noticed a nice lake near the town of Georgetown. Today we got a chance to stop and check it out.  Of course, I had the camera and was able to capture a few great shots of some teens having a blast by diving off the rocks at the edge of the (very deep) lake!  Enjoy!

This is why I love burst mode on my camera! The WC Seniors tradition is to stand in the courtyard after the Honors Assembly and toss their caps into the air.  I actually took 24 shots of this moment, but I had to condense it down to post here.

A nature walk at Wegerzyn Gardens

This past Sunday was the first anniversary of the day I married my sweet husband.  We spent the entire day,  driving around, stopping here and there,  just spending quality time together and reflecting on our marriage. We ended up at Wegerzyn Gardens and it just so happened that I had my camera. (Insert Shocked Face haha)  So, I feel the need to do things a little "out of the box" and post some beautiful nature shots that I captured on one very happy day of my life.  I find great contentment within these photos.

Note the man to the far right of the photo with his camera.  I decided not to photoshop him out just yet.. I like that he had the same idea that I had. :)

This beautiful flower was growing in a tree, about 10 yards off of the main path. The tree had probably 25 of these very large beauties.
